Ok, Thanks anyway!! I'm thinking in buying it because I'm spanish and i need a wcdma900 phone like this. I'm trying to decide between this one, Umi X1S which release is the next week and very cheap and good but only 1850mah of battery , wait for Umi X2, wait for future Newman K1.
I had the UMi X1 that also had 1850mah - and battery life was poor. I don't think the X1S would be better. Also - the GPS on the X1 did not work - had two of them, and that was the case for both.
Personally I would go for the "real" brands like Lenovo, ZTE, Huawei, Samsung and HTC. In my experience the general quality and stability is better. But just my personal experiences - I know that allot of people are happy with Zopo, UMi and so on.
Hello!! Your review is great! Please report the speaker volume because the V970 had a very weak speaker! Also you do not say anything about the quality of the secondary camera and if you have tried it on video calls (V970 had issues with skype & tango with bad quality of audio). What about sun visibility? Does it also have notification led like v970?
I have no problems at all with the speaker level, I can easily hear the other person.
I have only used the front camera for Google Talk, and that works fine. Quality is good.
It have a good an wary bright screen, and it can be used in sunlight, although it is newer optimal. The screen is glossy and there is some reflection in bright sun.
Yes, it does have notification led, like the V970. Blinks green for new messages, missed calls, red for charging and low battery and so on.
The camera of ZTE Grand X Quad V987 doesn’t have the same number of pixels with Grand S’ but it’s got some really good features too! SvarSletYou can only move to phone storage, not SD. On some ROM's the SD and Phone storage is switch.

SvarSletYes, I think it will work in norway, it works in Denmark anyway and I am pretty sure the networks are the same.
SvarSletYes you will need a external microSD to update software at least.
